Third International Student Conference

Organizers:
Students from many different universities and from all regions of the southern Balkans met at ACT to discuss the future of the region: Aristotle University, Thessaloniki; European University, Skopje; Macedonia University, Thessaloniki; South-East European University, Tetovo; University of Western Macedonia, Florina; American College of Thessaloniki.
We welcomed about 40 students from outside ACT, 10-30 ACT students, professors from the participating universities and our speakers from the European Agency for Reconstruction, the Center for Democracy in South- East Europe and the South-East European Cooperation Initiative.
The students not only presented group talks on specific aspects on the issue, but also engaged in a very lively discussion with each other. All participants left with a much improved understanding of what will shape our region in the years to come.
We shall meet again in Skopje next year, for the fourth international student conference!
